Contrast Interiors designs and manufactures bespoke kitchens and cabinetry with an emphasis on functionality and form.
The initial consultation is the first opportunity for us to discuss your kitchen project. We can meet at your home or at our Showroom at C3, 29 Keeling Rd. If the project is a new build or renovation please bring along your house plans.
This initial meeting is simply about getting an idea of the direction you are going with regard to design. What colours are you leaning towards? What are the ‘must haves’ and ‘nice to haves’ for your new kitchen? It is also a good idea to consider what appliances you think you would like to incorporate.
A picture speaks a thousand words, so be on the lookout for images you love and bring these along to share. Browse interior design mags, pin some pics on pinterest, create a folder in Houzz. These all help convey the kitchen style you are hoping to achieve.
We are more than happy to guide your choices but equally happy for you to lead the way, just whatever you feel comfortable with.
We will finish up with a quick measure of your space and then it’s onto Step two.
Once the Initial Consultation is complete we will have a good idea of what you are hoping to achieve with your new kitchen. It’s time to bring that visually to life using our 3D Design Software.
A selection of rendered drawings and a floorplan will be supplied; this will give you a good idea of what the final result will look like. Inevitably there will be some changes and tweaking to make. You will work exclusively with our designer until you are happy with the final result.
Once the concept design is agreed upon we will provide you with a quotation and assuming you are happy with the price we schedule your works.
Approximately one week prior to manufacturing we will visit site and do a final site measure.
Following the site measure we will put together the final documents that will form your contract with Contrast Interiors;
- Final Design & Quotation: occasionally there are slight changes following site measure
- Kitchen Details: in this document we confirm the choices you have made and any special requests.
- Contrast Interiors Terms & Conditions
- 50% Deposit Invoice.
We will also agree on an installation date on payment of your deposit and we will begin manufacturing.
The talented team at Contrast will begin manufacturing your kitchen on payment of your deposit invoice.
Generally a kitchen takes four weeks to manufacture. This timeframe could be more or less depending on the complexity of your project.
We recommend that you arrange for your space to be prepared for installation during this time; existing kitchen removed, walls plastered & painted, flooring finished where possible, wired for new electrical, plumbed for new plumbing where necessary.
Just prior to installation will we set your kitchen cabinetry up in our factory and arrange a time for you to view the finished product before it leaves the factory.
It is at this point that we will forward you a 40% Progress Invoice and ask that you arrange for payment prior to installation.
The day you have been waiting for has finally arrived!
Your kitchen cabinetry will be delivered to site and our installers will go about installing your brand new kitchen.
An average kitchen will take between 1 & 2 days to install.
If you have opted for Stone or Granite benchtops, this will be templated on completion of the cabinetry installation. Stone/Grainte tops take up to 10 working days to manufacture.
